I redo the base coat for best result 
White spots are putty to cover scratches 
SHREK diorama before make over
Here are the step by step pictures of my SHREK diorama make over project. As you can see I had to repaired the scratches and repainted them. Adding some artificial plantation and my custom made artificial grass for realistic looks.
